# Systems Research Yearbook 1982

The 1982 yearbook focuses the discussion on general issues of systems research: the prerequisites for its emergence, its architectonics and effectiveness, and its relationship with the practice of global modeling. A strong emphasis is placed on modeling and managing socio-economic systems, as well as on decision-making research—at the intersection of psychology, ergonomics, and formal frameworks. The volume concludes with a section on specific scientific applications (biology, ecology, culture), where the 'crystallization' of key methodological problems becomes apparent.
